Andrew Nguyen is the Managing Partner of Redington Drive Capital ("rdc"), which he founded in 2023 to buy and build UK businesses.
Andrew brings 14 years of private equity and investment banking experience across 10+ acquisitions, refinancings and sales in the US and UK. He was previously a Principal at Yellow Wood Partners in Boston, an Associate at Levine Leichtman Capital Partners in Los Angeles, and an investment banking analyst at Credit Suisse in New York. Working across geographies, sectors and company sizes has given him a broad, practical approach to investing and operating.
Andrew is drawn to complex problems. Investing in and operating a business draws on many disciplines at once: commercial judgement, strategy, operations, finance, industry dynamics and leadership transitions. A business is an organisation in constant motion, and the hardest part of running one is deciding where to focus people and capital. Andrew learned that first-hand in 2023, when rdc acquired Inpulse from its founder and he stepped in as CEO. Over the next three years, ARR grew by 50% as he invested in the team, sharpened the go-to-market engine and accelerated product development, all while building lasting relationships and setting a high bar for excellence across the organisation. He now serves as Board Chair, and brings that hard-won operating experience to every healthy, growing business rdc partners with.
